From Our Family to Yours
The name 'Chill C' comes from the first letters of the founders' children's names: Cal, Henry, Isabella, Lily, Lucy, and Cade. Since then, two more have joined the crew, Riley Moore and Maddie Ruth.
From the Begining
Chill C Farms was founded in 2007 by three friends with a passion for agriculture. They formed a partnership and began by growing 20 acres of yellow crookneck squash. By 2019, those 20 acres had expanded to over 500 acres of vegetable production and a 30,000-sq.-ft. vegetable packinghouse.
Growing the Farms
Today, Chill C Farms grows bell peppers, yellow straightneck squash, yellow crookneck squash, eggplant, cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini, and specialty peppers.
Just as family is important to these founders, so is producing high-quality vegetables to meet your needs.
Building The Market
Each harvest season, friends and neighbors ask to purchase produce directly from us. In 2020, we tried something new, selling mixed vegetable boxes to our customers. In the midst of the pandemic, we even introduced home delivery as an option. It was a great success, and we have continued this service ever since.
